NAVIGABLE RIVERS LAND USE LICENSE / LEASE / EASEMENT
A Land Use License or Easement may be required for projects on lands below the low water mark of State Navigable Rivers (Fed requirements under 404/Section 10).

WHO NEEDS A NAVIGABLE RIVERS LAND USE AUTHORIZATION?
This authorization may apply to any entity proposing a project on lands below the low water mark of a state-designated navigable waterway.
It may be required for construction, placement, maintenance or modification of structures or improvements in, over, below or above a navigable river.
DNRC determines whether the waterway is navigable and what type of authorization is appropriate.

1. COMPLETE THE JOINT APPLICATION FORM IN GILLY
Create an account and begin your application.

2. DOWNLOAD & SUBMIT TO YOUR LOCAL DNRC LAND OFFICE
Download your completed Joint Application Form from Gilly and submit it to the appropriate DNRC Land Office with the required application fee.
Additional information, surveys or fees may also be required depending on the project.
Navigable Rivers Land Use applications are not submitted through Gilly.
