SPA 124 PERMIT (Stream Protection Act)
SPA 124 applies to agencies or subdivisions of state, county or city government proposing a project that may affect the bed or banks of any stream in Montana. Many federal agencies also comply through a memorandum of understanding or general agreement.

SPA 124 applies to governmental entities proposing stream-related projects.
This may include:

State agency
Many federal agencies*
Contractors may perform the work on behalf of the governmental entity.
*Many federal agencies comply through a memorandum of understanding or general agreement.

2. DOWNLOAD & SUBMIT TO MONTANA FISH, WILDLIFE & PARKS
After completing the Joint Application Form in Gilly, download your completed application.
Submit it directly to Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks along with preliminary plans or sketches of the proposed project.
SPA 124 applications are not submitted through Gilly.
